Outlook error - Plaintext authentication disallowed on non-secure (SSL/TLS) connections. Print

If you are using Outlook to access your email and you get the error message "Plaintext authentication disallowed on non-secure (SSL/TLS) connections."  

You need to turn on SSL/TLS in your email settings.  In your Outlook email account settings ensure your settings are the same as below.  If you are using iMap then the incoming server port should be 993.
